Graduation - Spring 2005

Alumni Directory is up and running.

After months of work the alumni directory is ready for Alaska Pacific University Alumni to log-on to. Simply go to the APU home page at www.alaskapacific.edu, click the alumni link and then the Alumni Directory link and follow the easy instructions. We will verify your alumni status and send a password to you in about 3 business days. You can choose how much information you want listed on the directory. We recommend that you list at least your name, year you graduated, degree and email address so that your long lost classmates can get in contact with you. The Alumni Directory is a great way to get in touch and stay in touch with your fellow classmates!

The Non-Phone-a-thon

This year we we're trying something new. As a replacement to our traditional spring alumni phone-a-thon, we will be conducting an email alumni giving campaign in order to raise funds in support of the Alumni Scholarship and the Annual Fund. Starting in Mid-April, emails will be sent to those of who have provided us with your email address.

The email will contain a "donate now" button and you can make a donation right on-line! Wow! Plus, this new fundraising format allows you to help us with our fundraising efforts by simply forwarding the email on to other alumni you know.

As you know, alumni giving is extremely important to APU. Your generous support not only helps to fund scholarships for great students, but it also directly affects our ranking in such prestigious publications as US News and World Reports Best Colleges

We are really excited about this, and hope you will be too. Please consider making a gift to APU this spring. Your gift will help the university and its students in many ways. Plus, if you make a donation of $50 or more you will be entered to win a pair of Alaska Airline tickets. Thanks to Alaska Airlines for its continued and generous support of Alaska Pacific University!

If you would like to be included in the Alumni e-mail campaign send us your e-mail address at devoff@alaskapacific.edu or call 907-564-8250.
